My flash fiction piece, “Waiting for Change,” is now available to read in Gargoyle Magazine! I am honored to have been featured in this publication, especially because of its connection to George Washington University, as my mother attended for her freshman year of college. I hope that others enjoy this story (like many of my works, it is meant to be both lighthearted and dark), and that they check out some of the other pieces in this issue. Happy reading!
Over the weekend I had the honor of being a part of the pre-launch party celebration for the twenty-first issue of Lumina Journal, as my piece, “Shrimp Tails,” will be featured in the upcoming publication! This was such an exciting opportunity. I traveled down to NYC for the weekend and spent the evening at Jade Bar, where I—along with a dozen of the other contributors—read my story for the crowd. A lovely contributor was kind enough to film my reading, which I have included below! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed getting in front of an audience. Perhaps some open mic nights in my future?… Regardless, I hope that others enjoy this story, and I will post an update when Lumina is live!
